Bill and Victoria Strong created PetitionToCureSMA.com in July 2008 to drum up broad, national support for the bipartisan SMA Treatment Acceleration Act currently in the United States Congress. If passed, this legislation will help organize and coordinate the mature research of SMA in hopes of closing the gap on curing the disease once and for all. To date, the petition has received over 73,000 signatures with a goal of reaching 100,000 signatures.
